Basic Editing in YuJa

A guide to basic editing in Yuja.

To edit a video in Yuja, first locate the file you want to edit in your media collection in Yuja, under the “Manage media” tab. Hove over the file and select “Edit” from the menu that appears. This will open the Yuja video editor.

In the Yuja editor, the first button, a right-facing arrow pointing at a bar, sets the trim start position, if you need to cut some from the beginning of the video. The second button, a left-facing arrow pointing at a bar, sets the trim end position, if you need to remove some video from the end. The third button, a scissors, will allow you to cut out a section in the middle.

When you have completed editing your video, you can save with the button at the top that says “Save”. You have the option to either replace the video you are editing or save a copy with the edits.
