Getting Started

Anthology Ally is integrated into the Blackboard Learn Original learning management system. Ally is available when text is entered into a text box, documents (Word, PDF, PowerPoint) are posted, and images are added. Instructors will see an indicator identifying the accessibility of the content, including guidance on how to fix any issues. Students will see an option to download Alternative Formats of the content providing them with different ways to read, listen to, and see the content.

Best Practices

Academic accessibility is an important initiative for all educators. The use of accessible materials with Ally's help can give students the power to learn in a way that works for them. Students have the opportunity to create an experience for their needs and preferences to let them feel empowered.
