NDSU Emergency Technologies consist of Cable TV/EAS, Card Access and Video Surveillance. Find out more about each below.
NDSU is provided a full set of cable channels in both high definition (HD) and standard definition formats for public areas such as lobbies and major building corridors. In addition to providing localized cable television programming or departmental digital signage, NDSU is provided visual information as a component of the Emergency Alert System (EAS). In case of an emergency these public displays provide important campus information. Often public displays are coupled with departmental displays to meet both EAS and departmental needs.
NDSU Information Technology helps provide key and/or card access to control traffic going in and out of buildings. For building keys and/or card access, please complete and return the Card Access Form to NDSU Facilities Management, Thorson Maintenance Center or email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Enterprise Networks provides video support across campus for both AV and surveillance. For more information, please reach out to the NDSU Help Desk.
