Training and workshops provided by the Learning and Applied Innovation Center.
The Learning and Applied Innovation Center (LAIC) provides a wide variety of opportunities to enhance your teaching practice, increase your productivity, and explore creative possibilities. Training for Students, Staff, and Fauclty
The LAIC offers regular workshops open to NDSU students, staff, and faculty. These workshops focus on programs and software used in multitudes of projects, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Audacity, Camtasia, and more multimedia programs. We also offer instruction in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and thesis formatting through Microsoft Word. These workshops provide a great introduction and practical experience to new and powerful programs that can be utilized throughout a college or professional career.
Workshops for Faculty
The LAIC offers regular workshops open to NDSU faculty. Our workshops feature interactive discussions on teaching and learning, as well as best practices for refining teaching methods to improve student learning and engagement. Participation in these workshops provides opportunities to learn and engage in lively discussions on effective pedagogy with colleagues from across the disciplines.
